The jaw crusher is mainly used to break raw materials to prepare for the secondary crushing. Jaw crusher is suitable for crushing hard or medium hardness raw materials, and the moisture content of the material should not be greater than 10%, otherwise it will affect the crushing efficiency.

Hammer crusher is divided into vertical, horizontal, single rotor, double rotor and other types according to the structure. Most of the discharging place is provided with a fixed screen, users can control the discharged particle size according to their own needs to choose the appropriate aperture of the screen. The crusher is suitable for crushing brittle materials, such as coal, rock, and shale, etc. For very hard materials or viscous materials, it is not applicable, the crushing ratio of the single rotor is generally 10-15, the double rotor can reach 20 to 30, the moisture content of the raw material is very strict, generally should not exceed 8%.

Impact crusher is an upgrade of hammer crusher. The main changes are: replace movable hammer head with fixed hammer head; 1 or 2 impact plates are arranged on the housing in the tangent direction of the rotor hammer head; the original sieve plate was removed. Because there is no sieve plate, its discharge particle size is large, often used for coarse crushing and medium crushing, in addition, the raw material moisture content can also be reached to about 12%.

The crushing ratio of the roller crusher is generally 3-15. The feeding granularity should not be large, generally not more than 25mm. Roller crusher can be used in intermediate crushing or fine crushing of the production line. If the raw material is medium hardness or soft material, the roller crusher is very suitable, such as coal gangue，shale, silt, dirt, slag and other raw materials can be broken by the roller machine.
