Physical properties of raw materials

The crystal structure of rock is one of the factors for crusher selection. Granular crystalline rocks tend to produce square-shaped aggregates, while layered crystalline rocks tend to produce flake stones. Therefore, different crusher equipment should be selected for rocks with different crystal structure.

Hardness and abrasion of raw materials

Hardness is also another key index to choose crusher. The hard rock is difficult to be treated, need to choose high crushing force crusher machine, like cone crusher. For the soft and brittle rocks, can choose impact crusher.

If the rock with strong abradability, according to the aggregate particle size requirements, need to choose three or four stage crushing process. The crusher working in squeezing way is suitable at the primary and secondary crushing stage.

— Adopts open circuit production at primary crushing stage, choose gyratory crusher, jaw crusher.

— Adopts closed circuit production at secondary crushing stage, choose cone crusher, jaw crusher(low production capacity).

— Adopts closed circuit production for fine crushing, choose single cylinder or multi-cylinder cone crusher or vertical impact crusher with working principle of stone beat stone.

If the rock with less abradability, normally uses three stage crushing process.

— Adopts open circuit production at primary crushing stage, choose gyratory crusher, jaw crusher, impact crusher.

— Adopts closed circuit production at secondary crushing stage, choose impact crusher, cone crusher, hammer crusher.

— Sand making uses vertical sand making machine in stone beat iron method, and configure double decks vibrating screen. Transport the 3-5mm coarse grain into high fineness vertical impact crusher to form open circuit production to get high quality finished sand.
